Commander Kamala Lays Down the Law : Low-Poly Model + Textures

Worked with an independent game company, Escape Fuel Games, to model and hand paint texture low poly 3D models of space craft, weaponry, and other assets to be used in Unity Engine.


Textured and modeled Blake character, one of the main characters for the short film, "The Haunted." Combination of real and painted textures. UV unwrapped with 3DCoat and Maya. Rigged with TSM, painted weights with emphasis on animatable facial/body topology. Lowpoly done in Maya and then brought over to ZBrush for detail work.

Along with color map, created bump, spec, and diffuse maps for models. Wood texture a mixture of realistic and handpainted sources. Textures 2k. Bookshelf is 2122 tris, Camcorder is 3834 tris.

Elka Turnaround

A ZBrush Sculpt WIP of Elka from the online graphic novel, Unsounded, written and drawn by Ashley Cope. Elka's hard headed and hot tempered, and probably one of my favorite characters within the story, so I hope I did the design justice. Collected real life, photographic, and artistic references for modeling and drafted 2D turnaround for reference. Eventually, I would like to create an animatable rig of my favorite action girl, Elka.
